而余苑綺爆出頭幾天掛急診，對此，李亞萍透露表現，女兒是前兩天感冒上吐下瀉，三天吃不下器械瘦2千克，但在家歇息沒去病院，不過女兒因為腰部不明腫瘤榨取到神經，所以目前天天城市腰痠，令人心疼。至於女兒化療現狀，李亞萍說：「綺綺昨天還跟她爸說她做這麼屢次化療受這麼多苦，就是為了要活下去陪小孩一路長大，所以她不懂為什麼還有人會選擇輕生，這樣對得起他們的家人嗎？」

針對余苑綺病況，據《自由時報》報道，余天本日受訪示意，大夫說女兒能化療就盡可能化療，「她已經化療快要70次，任何人都受不了，其他方式也盡可能做，女兒還滿頑強的，一切就順天命。」並泄漏現在已替女兒租間房子，先搬出來養病。
